Zola Organic Hydrating Energy Drink x Healthy Habits

After a long night of celebrating the launch of the fall issue of La Palme Magazine, with cover stars Ariel Winter from Modern Family and Peter Faccinelli of S.W.A.T., at one of my favorite places, Nightingale, I’ve woken up early to meditate, go for a run, cook a healthy breakfast, and then settle in for a morning of writing and pitching. 

Then I’m off to a working lunch and another event with Vanity Fair at Jimmy Choo in support of Women’s Cancer Research, followed by a low-key dinner with another blogger friend to do some catching up. 

As you can see, the life of an influencer can be pretty non-stop because you’re your own boss and you’re constantly striving to make connections and take your business to the next level. 

Even though my schedule can get pretty busy, I wouldn’t give up being an entrepreneur and a #girlboss for anything in the world. This also means that I’m mindful to incorporate healthy habits into my daily routine to make sure that I stay active in a balanced and holistic way.

What I love the most about working out is honoring my body and making sure that it's as healthy and strong as possible. I love lucy: Activewear for the everyday girl

Hi lovelies,

I love being active. I love working out. I love feeling great and I love looking great in my clothes. 

I also love my lattes as a yummy reward afterwards. But what I love even more is my lucy Activewear.

I'm not a trained dancer by any means, but one of my most favorite things to do is to turn up my favorite upbeat songs and dance, dance, dance! It not only makes me feel really good but it's also a fun and easy way to stay in shape. 

One of my favorite song's is "Standing on the Sun" by the Queen Bey herself, Beyonce, and I wanted to share with you one of my silly moments of working out and dancing to her song, the remix of course.

Be fit and fashionable with Lucy Activewear

For my early morning runs:
I love to wear the grey Lean and Mean Pullover sweatshirt ($79) with my red vintage silk running shorts. During the early morning when there's still a chill, crisp in the air and the sun is just waking up from behind the clouds, it's the perfect balance of keeping me warm while still being breathable enough to cool me down during the run. 


For the treadmill and the elliptical:

I have four key fitness secret weapons that help me stay fit, toned, happy, and healthy while living the dream in the city of dreams. Read on to see how to get the most out of your workout while looking your best.

Lather up on the sunscreen

I love working out at the gym, but what I love even more is going for a run on the streets of LA or hiking on the trails of Runyon Canyon. I also lather up with sunscreen on my face and body. My favorite sunscreen is L'Oreal's Paris Sublime Sun Advanced Sunscreen Crystal Clear Mist Spray SPF 30, 4.2 oz.  

Key tip: Don't forget about your lips. I use Torn by Ronny Kobo for TAGS sunscreen lip balm in SPF 15 Passion Fruit and Aloe. I also sport a baseball cap for added protection from the sun and to protect my face.

I love turning on one of my Spotify's workout mixes and just getting lost in the music while out for a run. My favorite types of music to workout to is pop, hip-hop, and top 100 hits. I like the keep the tempo high and fast to motivate me to go faster, higher, and longer.

I drink plenty of water before, during, and after my workouts. It's also a great way to get glowing and healthy-looking skin. Your body needs to stay hydrated to function at its optimal level and to prevent fatigue.
