Last night I had the pleasure of celebrating the launch of the Jacki bag, the newest collaboration between famed handbag designer Lulu Johansen Eschelman and E! News/Daily Pop icon and The Catt Walk CEO, Catt Sadler.
The soirée was held at LaPiazza Ristorante at the Grove and we enjoyed yummy bites and bubbly during the unveiling of the limited edition handbag line. Beyond how beautiful and functional the Jacki bag is, the message and purpose behind the collection is even more inspiring.
Half of all of the proceeds from the LMxCatt collaboration with go to the Women Like Us Foundation. During the celebration we watched an inspiring documentary on Catt, her mother's, and Lulu's experience at the Olmailaika Home in Kenya and I was touched by the women's journey, strength, .
Additionally, girls from the home contributed beautiful and authentic Kenyan beading to each handbag.
