Versailles: Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer

Candy WashingtonComment

Hi lovelies,

Fall, which is my favorite time of the year, is officially upon us and this means it's time to break out the sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes, and play in the leaves. It also means that it's time to curl up on the couch and enjoy all of the new Fall television shows. One of the number one shows that everyone is talking about is Versailles on Ovation TV.

If you love a period piece like me, from Downton Abbey, Reign, to the Tudors, then Versailles is a must-add to your DVR list. Set in Europe during the 16 and 1700's, the highly buzzed about show explores King Louis XIV's reign in France and how he earned the monikers of Louis the Great and The Sun King.

Beyond the royal drama, sibling rivalries, and romantic trysts, I'll be watching Versailles religiously for the amazing style and wardrobe of the ladies of the palace. From corsets, bonnets, ball gowns, and jewels. The fashion of the

The premiere of Versailles is on Ovation TV at Saturday, October 1pm 10pm et/pt and I'll be live-tweeting using #Versailles and @OvationTV, be sure to join us live for your chance to win a $25 AmericanExpress card.
