New kid meets old school: Coeur and MODA Fashion Trade Shows

New kid on the block, Coeur fashion trade show made its New York debut this month at 404 NYC for Spring and Summer 2013 collections, showcasing emerging designers in accessories, gift, home, and lifestyle categories.

The trade show was intimate yet spacious with two floors, approximating 13 designers, and with the smiling co-founder, Henri Myers, there to greet you at the door.
One of the most impressive brands there was Ecoalf, a line of bags, totes, and cases made in Madrid from recycled fabrics and eco-friendly products. The line is so highly sought-after that Apple wooed them into making a deal that all of their products are designed to fit Apple products.

The bags, totes, and cases come in an array of shapes and sizes and in brown, grey, blue, black, green, and white colorways.

Fashion trade show staple and mammoth, MODA Manhattan, which takes place every season and representing over 400 lines, showcased designer brands for immediate Fall, Holiday, and Resort. If you need to stock your stores with both established and breakthrough designers, this is the trade show for you.

One of the most fashion-forward designers was Donna Ricco, super cute chic casual and cocktail dresses and a must-read fashion blog.

Another label that you'll love is Pink House Imports for necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, and embellished purses, that can seamlessly go from day to night. Bronze is their break-out color for the season.
