I recently was invited to hang out with Meagan Cignoli on set of her latest fashion spread for french magazine Prestige. She was given run of a 4 floor art gallery for the day, that had bright colored pastel walls so the concept that she came up with for the shoot was a birthday party, done with Spring 2010 designer clothing. With a crew of 15 and 8 sets to prepare, I walked in as a guest and was handed balloons to blow up! Even Tani, the baker who made the delicious cakes and cupcakes was blowing up balloons! I've included some of the behind the scenes photos for you so you can see how much of a production this was. While flipping through the pages of so many magazines monthly, I don't realize how much time and how many people it takes to make a fashion spread. This shoot was like a party any little girl could dream of, but it was like a party being on set. Meagan has a creative team of stylists and assistants who love what they do, and love the people that they get to work with.
