Beauty is in the eye of the trend

Here are some of my favorite celebs rocking some of my favorite trends of the season... Don't think you can pull them off? I've given some expert fashion advice on to wear these trends your way!

Olivia Palermo rocking the printed tee trend with a low-key animal print. Animal prints are big this year and I love how Olivia is experimenting with the print without going overboard. That's the trick to this trend, keep it to a minimum and you'll rock it in a big way: pair jeans a T-Shirt with leopard print heels or carry a zebra-striped clutch.

Nicole Richie, one of the original Boho Chic fashionistas is of course embracing the ethnic print trend. She looks great in the Maxi dress with the tribal-inspired print. Try sporting a cool ethnic print scarf from DVF if you want to test out this trend.

Lauren Conrad is styling two of my personal favorite trends: the infamous boyfriend blazer and tights. Tights are here to stay, and apparently so is the boyfriend blazer... take a new on an old style and rock printed, lace, or otherwise embellished tights. Match your blazer with a romper instead of the old T-shirt and jeans for a more feminine look.

Rachel Bilson in the cargo pant. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd call cargo anything cute! But I have to admit that now that the cargo pant is back, this time tighter and more fitted rather than the baggy and loose look that took the 90's by storm, it's great to pair with a flowy top and oversized bag - perfect for running errands and looking effortless!

Whitney Port, our LA transplant, is always very ladylike and this pastel/floral-y print-inspired outfit just reinforces this fashionistas sense of style. I so excited for the return of feminine looks - if the lingerie, lace and sheer trends are too much for you, opt for pastels, florals, and skirts to add some girlish charm to your clothing repertoire.
