Really loved this event. Free champagne and commentary by Joe Zee, creative director of Elle magazine and Olivia Palermo from The City. The designer, Tia Cibani was also hosting.

Lace and I enjoying the free champagne! We also perused other sections on the Designer's floor. Our favorite section? The furs... shh... don't tell PETA. But we promise to buy vintage fur... new fur is cruel.

Me and the man himself! Mr. Joe Zee. I was lucky enough to snag some one-on-one time with Joe after the event. He is super laid-back and so nice! (I was swooning of course!)

I told him how much I loved A to Zee, and how I listen to his fashion advice religiously (see past blog posts for his entire A to Zee picks). He told me to tweet him a link to my blog because he would love to read it! Fashionable and down-to-earth? Perfection I tell you.

His commentary during the event was spot-on and super informative. Here are some trends Mr. Zee highlighted and like a good lil fashionista, I took notes:

This was my favorite piece! The reversible gold jacquard jacket! Perfect to dress up skinny jeans, heels, and a white top for a first date or to throw over a little black dress for that interview you landed for your must-have job.
