Why You Should Trust Your Summer Body To Cellfina With Dr. Marcus

BeautyCandy WashingtonComment

Hi lovelies,

It’s mid-January, which means that it’s the perfect time to work on getting our summer bodies ready for the beach, bikinis, and booty shakin’.

As always, feeling confident, happy, and strong starts from the inside-out and with knowing that we’re all valuable and worthy, just the way we are, but it also comes from being able to proactively take the initiative to create the life, career, and bodies that we want in a safe and healthy way.

One thing that empowered to take control of my body was knowing that having cellulite was nothing to be ashamed of, in fact, up to 80% of all women have some form of cellulite. Plus, it’s hereditary, which means that it’s not my fault that I have it and no amount of squats, hours at the gym, or eating clean will get rid of it. But one thing that I do have is the power and resources to improve it.

That’s why I decided to get rid of the dimples, waves, and cellulite on my thighs and derriere with Cellfina®, which is the only FDA-cleared, minimally invasive procedure proven to improve the appearance of cellulite for at least three years.

Cellfina stands so strongly behind its award-winning innovative technology that it provides its patients with a Cellfina Yearlong Assurance (CYA) Guarantee. So if my unwanted cellulite returns within a year, I can return to my trusted doctor, Dr. Keith Marcus, and Cellina will cover the costs of have my problematic areas re-treated. If you want to know if you qualify for the guarantee, simply visit CellfinaGuarantee.com within 30 days of your procedure date to register.

Speaking of my trusted Dr. Marcus, having my Cellfina performed at the Marcus Medical Spa was more like a friendly party than a scary procedure. From the moment that I walked into the door, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and at-ease. I was greeted with warmth and friendliness that made my entire experience go smoothly and I left feeling informed and confident in my results.

Sarah, Nicole, and Danica, who all work at the medical spa, made sure that I was always taken care of during each part of my experience. We talked, laughed, and shared stories, which naturally calmed my nerves so I went into the procedure in a peaceful and positive mood.

Dr. Marcus was equally amazing and talked me through what to expect before, during, and after my procedure and he patiently answered all of my questions. He made sure that I felt 100% comfortable and confident before we started the procedure.

Once we were in the room and started the Cellfina treatment, Dr. Marcus graciously explained exactly what he was doing and what was happening to my body during the procedure so I never felt scared but rather, I felt prepared for what would happen next which made my experience as enjoyable as possible.

The ladies in the room with me also eased my nerves by playing my favorite music, talking with me, and giving me stress balls to squeeze to relieve any tension or pain during the procedure. I felt completely supported and informed during the entire process and I’m so excited to show off my summer body in the upcoming weeks!

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING AND AFTER THE CELLFINA PROCEDURE

"A minimally-invasive procedure, Cellfina is performed in one of our soothing and comfortable med spa in Redondo Beach. To begin, we will administer a local anesthetic to the treatment area to ensure your comfort. We will then place the Cellfina handpiece firmly on the treatment area, before inserting an ultra small microblade (the size of a needle) underneath your skin. This blade will cut through the bands of connective tissue that form the cellulite, releasing the dimples and creating smoother skin.

You can expect your entire Cellfina treatment to last approximately one hour, at which point you will return home to begin the very brief healing process. After the procedure, you may experience minor soreness and bruising, though it will resolve quickly and you’ll be able to resume your normal activities the very next day. However, you will be advised to avoid strenuous activities for at least a few days to ensure an optimal result."
