Hi lovelies,
Living the life of a writer means being on the constant hunt for the perfect coffeeshop to call home for hours of typing, sipping, eating, and chatting with the cool person next to you. But there's also a few other must-have criteria that goes into picking the perfect place to call your coffeeshop home for your creative inspiration and caffeine fix.
Luckily for me I stumbled upon my local Dunkin' Donuts in Santa Monica, during the Dunkin' Donuts first-ever National Afternoon Latte and Macchiato Break, and it definitely meets all of the criteria for the perfect coffeeshop to call home, whether it's morning, noon, or night.
Check out my list below for why Dunkin' Donuts is my new coffeeshop home.
4 Reasons to visit Dunkin' Donuts during the National Afternoon Latte and Macchiato Break
Reason #1: Dunkin' Donuts has the best brew
Dunkin' Donuts brews all of their espresso-based beverages with high-quality, premium Arabica beans that are 100% Fair Trade Certified, for a smooth and consistent taste that is also socially-conscious.
Also, no matter what I'm craving, whether it's a latte, macchiato, cappuccino, or an espresso, Dunkin' Donuts has it on its menu and I can add to different flavors for a customized beverage.
Today, I was adventurous and opted for my first macchiato, which is a multi-tiered, handcrafted espresso beverage made with perfectly steamed milk topped with two shots of Dunkin' Donuts freshly-brewed, rich espresso, that can be served hot or iced, over my go-to peppermint mocha latte that I usually get, and I wasn't disappointed.
My yummy macchiato hit the spot with a smooth, rich flavor and gave me the exact boost I needed to finish working on my stories. Plus, the friendly barista helped me to pick out my beverage and offered to make me a new one if I didn't like it, but there was no need since I happily sipped on my macchiato and typed away.
Reason #2: A cozy ambiance makes all the difference
The brown and orange colored couches were super comfy and cozy and perfect for settling in for a day of writing and reading without getting uncomfortable or too scrunched up. Given that it's the holiday season, the Dunkin' Donuts was appropriately decorated with a holiday wreaths, trees, stocking-stuffers, bows, and other holiday-inspired décor.
There was also a TV playing CNN, nice music in the background, and digital menu that made it easy to see what food, beverages, and snacks were available and what sizes and flavors that they came in. Since my hours are never set in stone and sometimes I need to eat on-the-go, it's super convenient that Dunkin' Donuts offers delicious menu options that are available, any time, any where, and any day.
