About L.A. Hair
WE tv's hit series L.A. Hair, following celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble, returns for a fourth season on Thursday, July 30 at 10PM ET/PT.

This season, Kim continues working with her A-list clientele, taking her brand to a whole new level. She still has lofty plans to expand her business to Atlanta, the hair capital of the world; but that dream gets put on hold when she gets a tempting offer to partner on a wig and extension line from the bad boy of Hollywood Hair, Jonathan Antin. He makes big promises with investor dollars and appearances on QVC, but is this deal too good to be true? Will Jonathan be the ally Kim has been looking for to help expand her brand? Or will he end up her worst enemy as he tries to carve out a piece of Kim’s lucrative business for himself. Also this season, Kim provokes the fury of her sister Leah when she secretly hires a fiery new stylist from Atlanta, who throws the salon into chaos. Partnerships crumble, snitches are revealed, and the shears come out on this dramatic new season!

In the premiere episode, Kim has an opportunity to style the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul; who is making her first appearance on Fox’s hit series “Empire”. At the same time, Kim gives marching orders to her staff to create unique looks as a pitch for an LA Fashion week event. Terry is appointed the lead, but can he take control of the staff in her absence? And when Jonathan makes a surprise appearance at the salon with a mysterious envelope, all hell breaks loose!

L.A. Hair is produced for WE tv by 3 Ball Entertainment, LLC, and executive produced by JD Roth, Todd A. Nelson, DJ Nurre and Belinda Rungsea. Annabelle McDonald, Angela Molloy, Lauren P. Gellert and Suzanne Murch serve as executive producers for WE tv.

Fashionable philanthropy: Give back while updating your wardrobe

Candy WashingtonComment

Hi lovelies,

Last week I had a super important meeting, one those "once in a lifetime" opportunities and luckily for me, I had my mom to remind me to just relax, be grateful, and just go in there and be myself and rock it!

So once I was grounded, did my research, and prepped for the meeting, like any savvy fashionista, I could focus on what was really important, finding the perfect outfit to wear to my meeting! Because when I'm confident on the inside, it shines through on the outside and I needed an outfit to match my inner confidence.

While popping from store-to-store, I noticed a sign at H&M that if you donated your used clothes for recycling then you could receive 15% off of your next purchase. Doing something great for the environment while saving money and revamping my wardrobe? Count me in.

Then I started to think what others ways could I save money, revamp my wardrobe, and give back? That's when I discovered Giving Assistant. Giving Assistant is a free digital loyalty program, with over 1,100 of the largest retailers worldwide with an average of 5% cash reward after each online purchase and lets me save money while giving back. My favorite brands to shop while giving back include Forever21, White House | Black Market, AliExpress, Gilt, Amazon, Sephora, and Macy's.

Here's how it works: Retailers pay Giving Assistant a commission for purchases starting on their website and for purchases originating on their members links, they pay them an entire commission as direct cash back. For non-member purchases, Giving Assistant keeps the commission, and makes a small donation to Feed America. Additionally, members are able to automatically donate any % of their cash back to any charity of their choice, so I can give back and be rewarded for digital loyalty.

Another way I love to save money while giving back is to have a fashion swap party with my friends. We get together and bring all of our old clothes and swap clothes with each other. That way, I get to update my wardrobe without spending a dime and I get to have a fun girls' night with my friends. The clothes that are left-over we donate to Good Will and Dress for Success. Giving back, getting new clothes, and hanging with my friends, sounds like an awesome Friday night to me!

Comment below and tweet @CandyWashington how you like to save money while updating your wardrobe or if you have any questions.

Peony and me: From working to working out

Candy WashingtonComment

Hi lovelies,

Since my summer days can be so jammed packed, literally running from set from filming my new web series, The Ratchet Pack, to helping out behind-the-scenes at photoshoots for Hautelook, while still trying to make the time to stay in shape with my active outdoor and at-the-gym activities, my latest obsession is the edgy, activewear fashion brand Peony, because they keep me looking stylish and cool whether I'm working or working out.

With Peony's signature leggings, I can rock their bold prints ranging from florals, solid black accented with lace and leather, or paisley prints. Looking good while feeling good is the ultimate fitspiration.

To look chic while striking a yoga or pilates pose, I pair my leggings with a solid tank, sports bra, and sneakers, to make the prints really pop. When I want to sport my leggings for an on-the-go look, I opt for solid top in a silk or chiffon fabric with a small heel or wedge.

Peony also have great tops for an added feminine touch to any look. My absolute favorite piece from Peony is their sweatshirt with lace sleeves in white. I throw it over grey denim cut-off shorts and head to Starbucks to get some blogging done. I feel comfortable while rocking my signature style in my athleisure ensemble.
