Brooklyn We Go Hard

As some of you may or may not know... I just moved to Brooklyn! I quickly outgrew my Candy Cove a.k.a. my teeny yet painfully chic studio in Chelsea into a spacious and soon-to-be even more painfully chic 1-bedroom in Brooklyn.

Living room: Paris in the 1930's
Bedroom: Soft, feminine, blues, chocolates/black, cotton
Bathroom: Black and white and steel

ideeli: Pop Up Stores: Love Them?

Yesterday, David Arquette started prepping for the final blowout sale at his pop up shop, Propr Clothing on Abbott Kinney Boulevard in Venice, CA. Propr is closing after being open for 3 months.

The idea of a pop up store at first glance is a genius idea for a brand or designer that wants to showcase a diffusion line, or who cannot fully commit to a long term lease. But now has the pop up charm worn off especially since so many ho-hum sample sale events are now trying to bill themselves as "pop ups"? Share your opinion with us. Take the poll below. The only constant in life is change...

So this year has already brought along tons of change! But one thing that will never change is style. I came across these looks and fell in love... nothing earth-shattering, but was just some lovely inspiration on how to mix and match some looks and pieces... And for the price, this fashionista can indulge herself! Which are your favs?

Hmm... more change... I got a new 1-bedroom apartment!! So I will be moving out of the Candy Cove a.k.a. my fabulously teeny studio in Chelsea and into a much larger 1- bedroom in East Williamsburg (the hipsters have officially arrived) with 2 closets!! So I am pumped to decorate and such... will post on some of my inspiration for the apartment!
