Home Comforts: How To Make Your Chill Time As Serene As Possible

Hi lovelies,

Busy, busy busy! That is the state that so many of us find ourselves in each and every day. However, there is more to life than being busy! Indeed, we are, at our core human beings, not human doings! What that means is it's essential to take some time to rest, relax and recharge, where we are not always focused on the outcome of our task or goal. Chill time if you will! The good news is you can ensure that your chill time is as serene, enjoyable, and as comfortable as possible by following the guidance in the post below.

Gather your resources
There is nothing worse than settling down to a good chill out session, only to find you don't have everything you need to hand. After all, no one wants to have to get up and move around if they get cold, need another pillow, or want a snack.

With that in mind, it's important to consider your potential needs for the entire session. If you think you will get cold, have a blanket to hand. If you think you will get hungry fix a snack before you sit or lie down, and the same goes for drinks. You can even use an insulated flask to keep your hot drinks warm for longer which is perfect for cocoa and Xmas movie relaxing sessions!

Get comfortable
Of course, snacks, drinks, and blankets are all well and good but they won't help to make your chillout session more enjoyable if you aren't dressed comfortably, to begin with.

Now, what you choose to wear when chilling out is entirely up to you, but as a rule, anything with an elasticated waistband is a smart option. That means clothes like yoga pants, PJs, in soft organic fabrics like cotton and bamboo are a smart choice.

Although, making sure your underwear is comfortable is essential as well. The good news is there you can now get soft bars that offer support without the underwriting that can be so uncomfortable.

You can even get knickers like the one from Tommy John that are designed to provide perfect comfort all day. They won't rub, chafe, or ride up, which makes them the ideal option for folks that are looking to do some hard chilling!

Peace and quiet
For true relaxation, you need to make some space in which to relax, both mentally and physically. That may mean doing a little tidy up so you can slob out in peace. Although don't let it turn into a deep cleaning session!

It can also be helpful to make some mental space by asking those you share your space with to leave for a while, or taking yourself off to a room where you can be alone for a bit. After all, the temptation is always to get into a conversation if there is another person around.

Of course, peace and quiet doesn't have to mean absolute silence. Indeed, there are plenty of other restful options such as listening to a relaxing playlist or doing a guided meditation. You may even like to put on a TV show that doesn't require much mentally or emotionally for your chillout pleasure?
