Diary of an actress #11: NBC's Fashion Star winner interviewed by actress Candy Washington
I have to admit, I was a bit nervous interviewing these two lovely ladies. Acting is one thing, embodying a role and bringing that character to life in a meaningful way, but hosting is a delicate balance of being a personification of who you are while still being authentic. I hope I was able to do both.
Please enjoy the interview as I definitely got the insider scoop on what it was like to work with Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, and John Varvatos.
Additionally, one of my favorite parts of working in front of the camera is of course, the hair and make-up session that happens behind-the-scenes. While in the coveted seat, I can just unwind and gab with the girls before the true work begins. I met this awesome hair and make-up stylist, Raedawn Johnson of Orglamic Beauty, and we chatted, joked around, and swapped stories before it was my time to go on-set.
Talk soon and be well,
